Two new tee projects

I’ve been wanting to start the Anker Tee for months now. I need one in this buttery yellow color specifically to go with the Bespoke patchwork skirt that I made last year.

And with a little encouragement from a friend, I cast it on over Labor Day weekend. I’m still working on the neck, because other projects have seized my attention.

One is yet another tee called Mix Tape. I saw this pattern about a month ago, and decided I had to make it. At first I was planning to use another advent mini skein set. But the more I looked at the model photo, the more taken I was with its color scheme, and I decided to try to replicate it with my own stash.

The Mix Tape Tee is the very definition of potato chip knitting. Just one more stripe. Just one more color. I’m having a blast with this project, and I really hope that it looks as good with my yarn as the model project. If it does, I may yet knit another one with my advent yarns.
