I’m loving how this shawl is working up. I just about have the repeats memorized, and generally work on one section of a repeat at a time because the repeats are getting longer and taking more time.
The color is exactly what I was hoping for. And in my mind, I know that this project is one that Phyllis would have loved to “pet” and maybe even take a photo. She was an artist who was always interested in my art/crafts as well. Such a sweet friend who is dearly missed.
My mom took this photo in 2019. The “Runaway Girls” met each month to chat, catch up, have show and tell, and eat, until our favorite Panera was destroyed by March 2020 tornado damage. I’m so grateful that she took this photo, because it’s the only one I have of us together. I’m so blessed with good memories of the fun times we shared.
