It’s not perfect, but it’s ours, and it’s done.
I decided to use scrappy leftovers binding, so I dug out my box and picked out some colors that I thought would coordinate.
And here it is, ready to be washed and used again after several years sitting in my craft room waiting to be fixed. It looks a lot wavier than it actually is because of how I straightened the photo. But it is a little wavy because it has already been washed many times before re-quilting.
Backing is another homespun plaid cotton (not flannel), because CC loves the way it drapes and feels when he’s using it as a couch blanket. Again, not perfect, but way better than sitting there not able to be used!
