“Both have patterning that I need to pay attention to, so I need to only be working on one of those types of projects at one time.” Haha. That lasted about a day.
I have a very dear friend who has been dealing with some major health issues in the last couple of weeks. After visiting her yesterday, I decided that thinking about her and praying for her while knitting this shawl might be helpful for both of us.
Update July 17, 2026: Another dear, mutual, friend just called and let me know that our friend passed from this life this morning. As I knit on this shawl, I will remember Phyllis Jones and how special her friendship was to me for over 35 years.
