I’m about halfway through knitting my Mix Tape tee, and about two-thirds of the way through I started to veer off from the original model photo a little bit. I realized how many reds and golds they used in it, and that I didn’t have that many different scraps myself. Plus, I wanted to add in a bit more blue/green/purple for balance.
I also finished the second stripe on my Trifle Wrap and just added in the third color. This whole wrap will lean toward pinks and purples with some other colors thrown in, and I really enjoying the way the mohair/silk lace yarn helps blend everything together just a bit more.
It started with a variegated purple to a variegated hot pink, and now it’s a variegated light blue yarn. All of the yarns are variegated to some extent. Sort of tonal, but definitely pops of other colors woven in. Just love all the color!
