I put the final stitches in my shawl and washed and laid it out to block. I didn’t block it aggressively, because I wanted it to retain the squishiness of the garter stitch. Because the value of the colors is so close to each other (main/contrast colors), the pattern is more subdued. I think it will look good paired with a white shirt and blue jeans.
