I went to my quilt group last night, and it was great to get together with so many quilters whom I’ve missed seeing over the past year. So many changes in a year’s time that I probably wouldn’t have noticed if I’d gotten to see everyone monthly. And of course, some new members have joined and some existing members have moved to other communities or states to be closer to family. Show and Tell was amazing, as nearly everyone had something to share.
I got home and still had a little bit of time to do something before bedtime, so I worked more on my Dream center bottom panel, “Flowers” – and finished putting the last pieces of wool felt and buttons on. All that’s left is sewing the wood felt tree flowers on the third panel and adding those buttons, then sewing the three panels together. I might actually get to mark this long standing UFO off my list this month!
