One of my quilting groups had our monthly meeting Saturday, and everyone was able to make it. It was a great morning and afternoon, sharing a little food, some fabrics (and scraps!), and some miscellaneous items from my dear friend Sallie’s sewing collection. I think everyone was blessed in some way with something from her sewing room.
Rose brought the quilted Leftovers Row by Row, and it is so soft and pretty now that it is finished! I bound it today with more leftovers from both my and Sallie’s binding scraps. This should be a beautiful blessing for someone who needs to be wrapped in a quilted hug. I want to show it off to a couple more people before I donate it, but I’m looking forward to it going to its ultimate destination soon!
