I’ve actually had this shawl finished for a couple of weeks, but I hadn’t washed and blocked it until this weekend. I decided not to aggressively block it, but to just let it relax into its shape. I’m planning to wear it on Labor Day weekend (and whatever patriotic holidays or summer days). I made it just a little bit larger than the pattern was written by following some helpful instructions from other knitters – I wanted it to be a good and proper shawl size, and I think I achieved that. I only need to snip the yarn ends that are already woven in and put it away for a couple more weeks.
