I finally finished piecing all of part 6 for my Unity quilt. I’ve been all over the place in the sewing room, literally. A little quilting, a little piecing of a variety of quilts, and slowly, slowly the little sets of half square triangles were sewn in between everything else.
Part 7 is putting them together with some other pieces to make the blocks that will go in the next round of the quilt. And these are two of those blocks. They will be in a variety of colors, with the browns and peaches as the “constants”. Not sure how long it will take to complete this part, but I’ll keep piecing them in between everything else, and eventually they’ll be ready to put together. The quilt doesn’t have a deadline, so it will take as long as it takes, and meanwhile, I enjoy having it hanging on my design wall.
