On Saturday, October 31, Bonnie Hunter announced the colors for this year’s Quiltville mystery quilt. When I saw them I immediately thought, now these are my colors! CC said the same thing when I showed them to him.
The one exception is the grays which Bonnie says will comprise a lot of this quilt. I pulled every gray I had, dark to light, and I’ll definitely need to buy some more because I don’t have enough to do the strings parts (which I definitely want to do). But I was really pleased to find that I should have plenty of the other colors (with a nice variety for a scrappy quilt). Even without the extra grays, I’m good to start when the first clue drops the day after Thanksgiving.
