More diagonal rowing

The top left corner is coming along, and so far the blocks seem to be facing the correct directions. Piecing a quilt on point is not my favorite (those “middle” rows are so long!), but I have to admit that the diagonal layouts are often gorgeous.

Heartfelt progress

I’ve separated for the sleeves! It felt like I was never going to get there, but knitting a little each time did make progress. I feel like the body should go a little quicker when I knit on this project, since there aren’t as many stitches on the needles.

Full blocks ready

Yes! And I chose my sashing fabric as well. I threw four blocks up on the design wall along with some light sage green strips cut from a bolt I got at the Stitcher’s Garden back room sale several months back.
