As I was organizing some scraps the other day, I pulled out my purple 2½” strips and squares and selected 50 different ones from which to make two 25-patches. I’ve been working with crumbs and strings more lately (mostly organizing and pressing but a little sewing too, for Xing and Crumble Weave), and it was nice to have some square pieces with which to sew.
I think that brings me up to 7 of the colors I had planned for this quilt so far. Just a few more to go before deciding on the sashing color and putting that all together.
