I got a message from my quilter last Friday that Silk Path was quilted and ready to be picked up! I have been so excited to have this one quilted, and Margie did not disappoint (not that she ever does). I thought it was striking before, but the quilting just made it so much more beautiful.
All those swirls just soften the lines a bit, add some movement to it, and bring it to life.
And the swirls on the backing are the perfect echo with the quilting. I used the same fabric to make binding. I think it frames the front nicely. This one is for Tori and Sam, who got married in 2024. I hope they like it!
