One Peter sock

I didn’t have much to go on my first Peter sock, so I knit on it a little while walking on the treadmill, then I just kept knitting on it until it was done. Wove in the ends and tried it on, and it fits really well.

I immediately cast on the second sock, but then had to switch to working on another project – a friend has asked me to knit her (expected in June) great-grandson a little baby hat.

I’ll be knitting a couple of hats, and she can choose one from those, or take both. I know I’ve got some time, but I also know me – what I put off either doesn’t get done, or I start dreading it because of all of the other things I want to make or do. So I’ve started the first hat now that I have the yarn in hand. They shouldn’t take too long to complete, since they’re smaller than the normal sizes I make.
