June 2022 WIPGO

Well, May was a pretty big flop as far as spending much time on cross stitching. That’s just the way these plans go sometimes, and I accept it. As mentioned previously, I made a little progress on the Owl for Celtic Quilt and a little progress on the cabin and surrounding greenery for Alpine Seasons Mandala.

June’s numbers bring up what I was discussing last month, as the number called were 9 and 16. Originally 9 was scheduled to be Chinese Dragon Gate, but I’ve decided that I’ll be working on Forever and Ever instead. I should be able to finish filling in the pink flower.

I’m leaning more and more toward abandoning Chinese Dragon Gate (as much as it pains me to abandon any project), since it is such a large one, and my heart just is not in it now. I’ll just move it to the back of the closet, and let it rest there a while.

16 is Cherry Blossom Creek, and I’m looking forward to working on it again, now that it has been re-started on linen and shouldn’t hurt my hands/fingers. The colors in that one are nice and cheerful too.
