These are so much fun, it’s almost like eating potato chips. You can’t stop at just one. These are both made from leftover skirt fabrics plus other scraps or coordinating stash. The one above uses an out of print Tula Pink fabric from her Moon Shine collection called Sprout (Jam colorway). I love how the golden dot print has so many of the colors used in the Sprout print.
This one uses a green and pink paisley feather print that I purchased a few years ago, along with the pink version of the floral print I used as backing fabric for Grassy Creek. The outline of the flowers in that print is a metallic gold, and I’m a sucker for shiny things. I checked the selvage for a designer or collection/fabric name, but all it says on this print is “Copyright protected” and “Not intended or recommended for use in children’s sleepwear.” I also have a blue version that I purchased separately so I must have really loved this print. The fabric is a little coarser than most quilt shop fabric, and I remember buying it at a little non-quilt shop in Georgia that carries a variety of products.
