I’ve learned I do best when I have specific projects in progress, rather than just randomly sewing strips or squares together for “future scrap quilts”.
I had an idea over the holidays in 2024, and have finally finished and organized enough to start a new project – Bonnie Hunter’s Silk Path. It looks intimidating as a design, but I think it should be pretty straightforward.
And instead of browns and neutrals, I’ll be using greens and neutrals. So I cleared off the die cutter, pulled out one of my strip dies, and decided to get to work – pulling out of my (mostly) fat quarter boxes.
I think I’ve almost got all of the greens cut that I’ll need (not all pictured, obviously). Next up is cutting some more of those neutrals.
