On Saturday October 19, 2024, we honored three men with Quilts of Valor at our local Oktoberfest event. It was a perfect morning to bless them with their quilts.
Jim was the first to receive his, and he read a poem that he had written honoring four of his uncles who also served our country.
I wish I had written down the names of the other two men who were honored with their Quilts of Valor, but I didn’t, and I can’t remember their names. If I learn them, I will update this to add their names beneath their photos.
