After a little over a year and a half of on again/off again knitting, I’ve finally finished my boxy sweater. And I washed it and blocked it. And it grew, big time. Yikes!
Then I remembered that the yarn I used is a superwash yarn, and this is often the case with superwash. So I re-wet the sweater and threw it in the dryer. And now it is perfect – back to the length I knit it.

The design is meant to be extra-wide (thus the “boxy” name). The sleeves begin around my elbow. But being knit in a fingering weight, it isn’t super heavy even with this much fabric.

And I could just wear it for a little while this morning since the temperatures have come down just a bit and the humidity has finally let up a bit.
