Crunkled socks

After re-knitting the socks, I’m so very happy with the way they turned out. I put them on sock blockers for the photo, and after that I washed them. They feel so cozy and soft. I can’t wait to wear them.

The yarn is a hand-dyed color by Leading Men Fiber Arts called Venetian Sunset, I believe. I lost the tag a while ago. It was definitely worth it to find the right pattern for this particular color. And since I still wear my hand knit socks all year round (unless I’m wearing sandals), I’ll have the perfect pair for summer. I have 15 grams left after making a little granny square for my blanket. I also used this yarn as the second color in my Find Your Fade shawl that I knit in 2018. This is that shawl after I finished it, prior to weaving in ends and washing/blocking.
