I had lots of time to knit while my friend Lois drove us to and from the retreat in Georgia (plus back and forth from there to Chattanooga), and I had nearly completed both while I was there.
I’ll likely make some more, because they’re a really good project for when you don’t need to pay attention to a pattern for most of the knitting. But I will probably finish a couple of pairs I already have in progress for me, and I may start another pair for myself using this yarn. It is so soft, and it washes and wears really well so far. The yarn is Knit Picks Stroll Tweed, and I’ve bought a few more skeins of that and also some Knit Picks Stroll (without the Tweed). I’m thinking of a patterned pair of socks for me, something that the yarn would show off nicely.
