I’ve completed a couple more charts of knitting for my About Time shawl, and I thought it would be a good time to take a progress photo. Of course, shawls are difficult to get a good photo/idea of how it’s going, since you’re scrunching up most of those stitches on a circular needle.
I’ve completed a full color change (and back), and I’m almost ready to add in a splash of the third color.
It’s funny to be knitting this shawl and the other one at the same time – when I first started knitting on this, the fingering weight wool felt pretty lightweight and fine. But now that I’ve started knitting the other with lace weight silk, this one almost feels like a worsted weight in comparison. It’s all in the relation of one thing to another.
