I was working on this as sort of a leader-ender project while putting together the Flutter quilt. It’s a different charm pack, but with very similar colors as the last one. I actually purchased them and the coordinating fabrics at the same time. And while I wasn’t partial to this border fabric over the other one at the time, I am now. Seeing it as a frame compared to just as fabric really changes how it feels.
Funny thing is I originally intended this border fabric to go with the first quilt and vice versa. But the quilts had other plans, and they totally work better now, I think. And there’s another one I need to quilt.
