Finished Navette poncho

The fabric from this yarn and the yarn texture pattern feels so nice. It’s not too heavy, and not too lightweight – it feels just right. All I need to do is go back through and trim the ends of the yarn that I’ve woven in.

It almost looks in this photo like the sides are sewn together with vents at the bottom, but the sides are completely open, only the shoulders are seamed together. The yarn “striping” and the vertical pattern striping are the perfect match.

Did I mention I bought some more of this yarn? I’d love to have a sweater – or a cardigan – made with it. This time I went with the Juniper colorway, a mixture of greens and cream with some blue and brown.
