When I was at one of my quilting groups in May, I was doing a little crochet. Anyone who knows me, knows it’s hard for me to sit still without doing something. I’ll often knit, or crochet, or take some English paper piecing along to work on during the meetings.
One of the other members saw me working on my crochet project, and asked me if I’d like to have the yarn and pattern from a project she got in one of those monthly craft boxes. She had tried to start the crochet shawl, but just didn’t enjoy it. She brought it to me this month, and I decided to start it. The yarn is a lovely color-changing one in hues of navy, purple, magenta, pink, and coral.
I decided to start it, and I’m thinking of giving it to her when it’s finished. It may take a while, but I’m going to try to work on it a little each day to start.
