Harris Tweed Opal socks

I can’t remember when I started this pair of socks, but I think it was sometime in 2019-2020. Last night I finally finished the toe of the second sock and wove in the ends. I tried them on, and they are sturdy, yet really nice and cushy. I really like this pattern, which is just a broken rib (it was a free pattern). It’s easy to remember, and it works well whether you’re using self-striping, variegated, or solid yarn.

This is one of those projects that I can work on sometimes while walking, so even though it wasn’t on this month’s WIPGO, it seemed like a no-brainer to multitask. Plus, new socks for me, yay!
