Simplicity 2980 Apron (View A) has been chosen as our next sewing project.
I’ve been talking with my friend, Amy Beth, about sewing off and on over the past several weeks, and she mentioned wanting to make an apron. My mom actually had a couple of patterns that she had purchased some time ago, and she offered their use to us if we wanted.
I showed the patterns to AB, and she really liked a couple of them, and settled on the circled one. We’re each going to make one at the same time from that pattern, so it’s a sew-along!
We plan to go fabric shopping soon, and I won’t know what colors/patterns I’m choosing until then. It will be my first time using rick rack. It’s definitely a vintage vibe, and I am looking forward to both the process and the finished project.
