It is finished, and I’m looking forward to wearing it! I didn’t block out all of the little picots at the bottom edge, but I think it looks fine. Honestly, if I had it to do again, I probably wouldn’t bind off with picots. They just aren’t as visible and don’t really add to the border that much. The colors are gorgeous, though it’s kind of hard to tell from the full photo.
The closeup view shows the design and colors a bit better. It really is a neat (and fairly easy) design to knit for that one beautiful skein of variegated yarn you just don’t want to pair with something else but don’t know what design would showcase it nicely. CC was a little shocked when I started dropping and “running” those stitches all the way down. It was a weird feeling, since I’m usually trying to prevent that from happening. But the effect is lovely.
