It’s Ariel’s fault (and that’s not a bad thing)

Thanks to my friend Ariel, who was knitting this design at our last meetup, I just had to start one of my own. It’s called the One and Done shawl, and it’s meant for a single skein of that variegated yarn you just had to have but have no idea how to use it. Bear in mind, this is not the final look of the shawl – this is just its in-progress, scrunched-up look. Plus, just before I get ready to do the finishing area at the bottom, I will intentionally DROP some stitches all the way down. Cool, huh? I can’t wait to see how it’s going to look! The yarn is a really pretty combination of of browns and minty green, and it reminds me of oxidized copper.

Yarn caked and the project was just started at this point back in March.
