Approximately 6,000. There may be a few more than 6,000 in this quilt, but we’re rounding to the nearest hundred anyway. Two corners

More diagonal rowing
The top left corner is coming along, and so far the blocks seem to be facing the correct directions. Piecing a quilt on point is not my favorite (those “middle” rows are so long!), but I have to admit that the diagonal layouts are often gorgeous.
