For reference, this was the previous progress point, and I actually made a little more progress than I originally thought I had. I filled in some more of the cabin and added greenery around it. That yellow shade is called “Pond Scum” and that is just the perfect name for the color!

Owl feathers
My little owl block is almost complete. The owl has all of his feathers and other specialty stitches and fibers now. I finished the blackwork-like background stitching, but still need to add beads there. And I’ve started filling in the border. Desert jackrabbit
I managed to finish the jackrabbit for the upper right nature corner, but I still have a lot to do in this little spot. The black cacti still need their gold star embellishments. Urchin and seashell
Well, I didn’t get any more of the border stitched, but I did finish the main urchin and the seashell part of the design. There are a couple of crystals that still need to be attached, but I plan to do that after I stitch the border.
Celtic Owl started
I wasn’t able to hold off on starting the main design long enough to finish the border of this block. So, I got started on both, and finished neither one. I love this little owl.
