Block, meet sashing
I began piecing the Straits of Mackinac blocks to sashing strips over the weekend. I got maybe about a third of the way through the first pass. Once I get these done, I’ll be able to start piecing them to each other and the alternating sashing rows together.
Clue 2, section 7
This clue had some triangles formed by slipping stitches. When the floats got too long, I did what some others did and trapped the long floats on the back of the work on the following row.
