The blocks for this quilt were pretty simple to make and quick to put together. They’re nice and big and very graphic. I spent most of the weekend finishing them up and putting them together, and put the borders on Sunday night just before bed.
Now I need to piece together the backing fabric, buy some batting, baste it all together, and get to quilting it. I’m thinking of doing some simple quilting with the walking foot. It’s a large quilt, so it will definitely take some maneuvering when I get to the center, but after watching a couple of Craftsy classes on quilting with a walking foot, I think that might be my best option for this quilt. At the very least, I want to stabilize it with the walking foot quilting.
