A friend asked me if I could take three of her mother’s t-shirts and make pillows out of them as a keepsake, and of course I said yes. This should be a bit easier than an entire t-shirt quilt.
I spent a little bit of time picking out coordinating fabrics for the borders of each pillow, and I think all the colors and fabrics will coordinate if she wants to display them together.
I pulled out my bolt of Pellon SF101 to fuse and stabilize them, which will probably take the most time. These images are actually the backs of the t-shirts, and each one has a small logo on the front. I plan to use the t-shirt backs as pillow fronts and the t-shirt fronts as envelope backs. Hopefully the end result will meet or exceed my vision, and she’ll be pleased!
