A bunch of us recently got the Creative Grids 8-inch Log Cabin ruler, and there have been some Log Cabin and Courthouse Steps quilt activity in our groups.
I decided to go really scrappy and do a lights and darks on opposite sides design, alternating the direction of the blocks to ensure there were no conflicting/matching seams.
Was this on my Scrappy Quilts In Progress list? Nope, but I just had to make it anyway (testing out the ruler, you know…). Now back to the other scrappy quilts in progress!
