A rainbow row

I had a lot going on this weekend, but I managed to get one row pieced for my Over the Rainbow quilt, and I’m thrilled with how it looks so far. Each successive row will shift the colors to the left by one, and there will be sashing rows of black with a rainbow of sashing squares. I plan to do a border using the same fabric as the sashing, but I’m not sure how wide it will be yet. This quilt is already going to be quite large, and I don’t want the border to be out of proportion to the rest of the quilt, overwhelming it.
