My mom was wearing her original slouchy beanie (a blue one) one day, and mentioned that she needed a black one. Preferring not to do a solid black hat, I found a dark gray tonal yarn and made her one with that.
Here is the original hat I made for her in 2018. I think the lighting makes this a little more teal than blue, but it’s a lovely color too, it just doesn’t go with everything. Her new hat should help cover the gap.
