I decided that all of my interior blocks are pieced for the High Cotton charity quilt, and I’m going to use plain squares for the exterior, as I did for my dad’s quilt. I just need to cut them from scraps and then lay them out with these blocks, then I can begin piecing the quilt top together. This is definitely my current focus quilt project. I’m ready to get it done so I can focus on one of my other projects. It’s been marinating long enough. Time to cook it!
I had my mom “try on” her cardigan-in-progress, and it seems to fit her as well as it was fitting me, so onward we go with that project too!
