There hasn’t been a lot going on here lately. I’ve mostly been going about my daily, weekly, monthly routines. I’m working on the Silk Path quilt along with some other slow progress scrap projects in the sewing room. And when I’m not there, I’m usually knitting on a sweater, shawl, or charity hat. I don’t think I’ve shown any of these that I’ve knit so far this year, so I thought I’d share pictures of them. The first hat is pictured above, knit in Yarn Bee Soft & Sleek, simple stockinette stitch beanie.
I can usually get two (or almost two) hats out of a 5-ounce skein of yarn. When I need just a bit extra, I can add it to the crown or as a contrasting/coordinating brim.
