I went to Hobby Lobby the other day to pick out some fingering/sport weight yarn to make a baby hat. I have the yarn to make a worsted weight hat, but I wanted to try one a little finer for a newborn – more to come on that.
While I was going up and down the aisles, I spied a new-to-me yarn called Scrub-ology Cotton. I was definitely intrigued, and surprised that it was 100% cotton. It isn’t the easiest yarn to work with, but I was able to make a scrubbie dishcloth in a day. I have enough left over to make one more, or maybe a circular scrubbie. Not sure which I will do, but I like the way this one turned out. Now I’ll have to try it out to see if it makes a good dishrag.
