I was down to 3 squares remaining to be at three quarters completion on my sock scraps granny square afghan, so I carried it with me to a recent Panera outing with my friend Sallie. While we sat and chatted, I was able to add 7 more squares.
I’d like to go ahead and get all my current squares added before making more, so I should have at least one more row complete before I need to go into my sock scraps and mini skeins stash to pull some more colors. Of course, if I complete another sock or two between now and then, I probably will go ahead and add a square to my supply.
I really don’t know why I don’t work on it more often, except that so many other things grab my attention. But now that we’re heading into a little cooler weather, perhaps it will get some more attention. And I’ll have to bring it to share with a couple of other crafty friends when we schedule our next (maybe Captain D’s?) get-together. It really has been too long since the last one. Life gets in the way!
Sounds like a plan!! Gosh, we can all remember when you began this!
