I saw the Abstract Pinwheel baby quilt when I was searching for baby quilt patterns one day and decided I’d really like to make it.
Of course, mine is a little different. I decided not to add the outer border. I pulled the squares from my stash, and didn’t include as many lights as I probably could have (compared to the model quilt). But I really love it. The colors speak to me. It’s very modern, and not very “baby” at all with this color palette.
I think I’ll quilt it simply, with straight lines. But I might change my mind between now and when I actually quilt it. I did manage to sandwich the layers on Saturday, so it’s ready whenever I am to quilt it.
