I was searching through some project bags recently and came across a project that I’d completely forgotten I had on the needles. It’s one of those that I could knit without looking at, so I pulled it out and finished it after knitting at a few different gatherings.
I used some sparkly hand-dyed sock yarn, and the yarn worked up in some pretty striping. It can be worn as a super slouchy beanie, or you can turn the brim and still have a slightly slouchy hat with a little extra warmth around the ears. Being sock weight yarn, it’s a nice transitional hat that can be worn on warmer days or winter or early fall/late spring.
