I asked my quilter Margie Dill to choose a pattern that she thought would go well with this quilt, and she really delivered! It complements it perfectly, and I look forward to having it finally finished.
I’ve just trimmed it, and was hoping to use the black and white swirl fabric as binding, but alas, I don’t quite have enough. I have plenty of the black print, however, so I’ll use that instead. I’m going to try to do that this week.
The name that came to me for this quilt today was Sampler Path – fairly straightforward (though the path in this quilt was not straight in many senses).
It has a pretty flannel backing, and I’ll try to remember to take a photo of that when I get the quilt finished.
