But this is the start (part 1) of the Piper doily. I wanted to try to crochet one, even with my vision issues. When the crochet-along was announced, I decided to participate, although I knew that I wouldn’t be able to keep up with the fast-paced schedule. I’m just working at my own pace with my magnifier.
This is rounds 1-6 of 46 rounds, and the promise of a lot of popcorn stitches (which take time, but are beautiful and one of my favorites) was part of what made me decide to attempt the project.
Expect slow progress, but I’ve made it this far, so I think it is do-able.
