Leia, my little tortie cat, wanted to claim the quilt before it was even trimmed and bound.

I was originally going to use the fabric I used for binding as another narrow border, but decided at the end that it would look better just as the binding, and I think it pulls the final quilt together. This is one of my favorite fabrics, and I have no idea what it is – I just love the brown/gray/plum color with those graphic flowers.

I had almost enough of the turquoise flannel (but not quite) to back this quilt, so I found a piece of another leftover flannel in my stash that matched really nice and spliced it in between.
That’s two of the three quilts finished – one to go!
