Lapghan in lime and gray

My first lapghan went together a lot quicker than my second one is going, due to a difference in yarns and patterns used.

For this one, I chose a lime green Caron Simply Soft (I think the color name was actually Chartreuse), and an unknown brand gray yarn which was just slightly heavier in weight/thickness, but not enough to distort the stitches.

I used this Wheelchair Lapghan Pattern. You can use one color, multpile colors, solids, variegated, whatever yarns you have. I chose to finish it off with the lime using a single crochet, then the gray with a modified shell border pattern.

I may return to this pattern for my next lapghan (after I finish the one I’m currently crocheting) because, even though I really like the second design, it it taking much, much longer to complete. Of course, I’m also using a bit heavier yarn again than the gray in this one, so that may also have something to do with it. Stay tuned for that one, hopefully soon!
