Thanks to the keen eyes of my dear friend Phyllis, I now have four more neutral squares. I had forgotten to count the ones in the corners of the quilt. Luckily she alerted me to the missing blocks so I could go ahead and make them before forging ahead with the rest of the regular log cabin versions.
And just to share where I am in piecing those – here is my stack, waiting for the next round. A neutral rectangle will be added next, and I’m hoping to get through third round of the neutral side over the weekend. It would be nice to get further, but there are a lot more of these than the single-color variations.
Everything looks so very lovely!
