I pulled out my ever-in-progress sock scraps blanket, and added a few more granny squares over the past week. I finally made it to the end of the row, wove in all those ends, and started the next row!
15 squares wide by 13 squares long so far (just starting row 14). It feels like the right time to start working on it again, since the temperatures have dropped like a rock. We were enjoying highs in the mid- to upper-70s, and Saturday’s high was predicted to be something like 41. Whoa! Whatever happened to Autumn??? I think I’d appreciate a more gradual temperature adjustment, but it just feels like we get the short shrift on the two more temperate seasons.
Oh well, I’m grateful to be able to snuggle under this while I’m working on it.
